Let Not Your Heart Be Troubled – The Truth About Fear & Worry

In our society fear and worry are running rampant! The phrase “In these unusual times” is actually beginning to sound cliche. Of course, we have more to worry about now than we ever thought we’d have to face. Some worries are universal…health, safety, jobs business, our children’s education. You name it. But as horse people we are blessed to have these wonderful animals in our lives to provide both  physical and mental benifits.Studies show that people working with horses experience decreased blood pressure, lower stress levels and reduced feelings of tension, anxiety and anger. In addition, studies show you gain feelings of self-esteem, empowerment, patience and trust

No Worries…Here’s The Good News!

Did you know…

It is scientifically proven that 85% of what you worry about never happens. The 15% that does happen is handled better than expected 79% of the time. That means that 97% of what you worry over is not much more than a fearful mind punishing you with exaggerations & misconceptions!

So, that doesn’t mean that things going on out in the world are not cause for concern.  However, I believe that if there were EVER a time to embrace the solace of this message…NOW is the time!

Serenity Prayer – BAMM Graphix

We are innondated with INFORMATION (true or fake) about what is going on in the world around us. The media makes sure of that 24/7. But applying a healthy dose of the perspective and sound judgement that WISDOM provides allows us to make the right choices at the right time for ourselves and the ones we love.

We are all experiencing different, and in many cases the same, problems and challenges. But we’ve all got clear marching orders:

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.”

Joshua 1:9

God bless you all and keep you safe!
