I recently had the pleasure of joining my friend Elizabeth Lewis Kofmehl of Polo Girls   to visit the Darlington Polo Club in Darlington Pennsylvania. When most people think of polo, they think of fancy hats and champagne  flutes.  Not so in Darlington! These folks host a weekly “Friday Night Lights” match with a casual atmosphere. People from all around the area pull up in their pick-ups to crack open a cold one, and enjoy a yummy burger or footlong hot off the grill at the Lions Club concession stand. I spoke with team member Juliette Powers about what it’s like to be a lady polo player. She’s not only a player, but an  instructor at the Powers Polo School.
