Thanksgiving…With Unbridled Faith

A riding buddy of mine gifted this book to me a few weeks ago. It was written by horsewoman, Cara Whitney, wife of comedian Larry the Cable Guy. It’s given me such a beautiful way to start each day, that I want to share it with you. The messages are inspiring, providing a framework to focus on our blessings, look to the positives and not just the negatives in the world, and to rest in the knowledge that ultimately, God is in control.

With the myriad of difficulties that we have all been struggling with this year it’s important to remember that worrying does nothing to solve problems, or improve the situation. It only, ultimately damages us.

“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, about what you will eat or drink, or about your body, what you will wear…Can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?” MATTHEW 6:25, 27

We, as horse people, are particularly blessed sharing life with our equine angels. Let’s all give Thanksgiving for that!
