There is so much to learn from the seminars and demonstrations presented by renowned horsemanship experts, including Julie Goodnight on Training Green Horses, Bonding With Horses, & Raising Your Riding Level, just to name a few topics. Guy McLean will be talking about preparing for the unknown (I think we can all use that!) and sharing his vast experience with training and riding. Breeds Abound!
Be sure not to miss out on the Breed Pavilion, where you can get up close and personal with familiar, and maybe not-so-familiar horse breeds.
Also, be sure to visit the Horse and Farm Exhibits, where you can check out training and lesson facilities, explore stud services, or even buy a horse…like we did! Yes, that’s where my daughter found her heart horse, Gypsy Vanner, “The Pirate King.”
Opportunities For Adopting
Adoption Affaire provides the opportunity to place horses for adoption, or promote your rescue or sanctuary. You can apply to adopt on the spot and find a horse their forever home!
Equine Affaire is excited to partner with the ASPCA’s Right Horse Initiative to improve the lives of horses in transition and connect adopters with the “Right Horse.”
